About the Instructor

After working in painting and mixed media for many years, Nia Michaels gave in to her long held obsession with decorative tins. She now works exclusively in tin and is drawn to the intricate patterns, the range of colors, as well as the effects of aging: rust, dents, scratches and fading.

Nia Michaels has been creating art from tin for over 10 years and teaching in various media for multiple years.
