Salon: “The Art and Symbolism of Tarot”

Thursday, February 1, 6:00-8:00PM

With Carla Dimitriou. This event is open to artEast members only.

Viewed as an occult practice by some and welcomed as a tool for divination by others, tarot offers an intriguing visual language that began as playing cards centuries ago.

Join us for this informative and engaging evening to learn more about the symbolism common in tarot art. You may also have the opportunity to have your cards read by artist Carla Dimitriou.

This salon coincides with “Tarot: In the Cards,” an exhibition of tarot’s major arcana as interpreted by 22 local artists. The exhibition is on display at artEAST Art Center through February 13.
