Adults

EktaGuptaColored Pencil, Thursdays, 12-1:30pm

Experience the joy of coloring with pencils while learning additional techniques to use this versatile, portable and easily accessible medium. No drawing experience or expertise necessary. $78/Members, $83/Non-members

Expressive Drawing, Mondays, Dec 5 & 12, 6-9pm

Ever wanted to try drawing but felt it was too daunting? Join Gail Baker and learn to create marks and shapes in new and engaging ways. $105/members, $115/Non-members

Figure Collage of 6.2Figure Drawing, Mondays and Tuesdays, times vary

Open model sessions offer participants the opportunity to practice drawing from the nude model without instruction. Ten, twenty and forty hour session passes available. $71–$242

Figure Drawing Exercise, Wednesdays, 10am-12:30pm

This course is appropriate for both new and experienced figurists. This series will include figure drawing exercises that will help create a foundation for a new practice, as well as exercises to encourage an existing figurist to expand and explore. $160/Members, $170/Non-members

Zentangle Beyond Basics, Tuesdays, 12-2pm

Beyond Basics will build on what you learned in the Intro class and continue your journey by gaining additional depth and understanding. Monthly series, $172/Members, $182/Non-members

iPadDemoiPad Art, September 24, 6:30-9pm

Learn the fundamentals of digital painting and drawing in a relaxed environment: with refreshments! Try out a new way to create using your fingers and an iPad. $45/MEmbers, $50/Non-members

Oil Pastel, September 10 & 17, 10am-2:30pm

Join Peggy in a relaxed, supportive workshop designed for beginning through intermediate artists interested in exploring some of the possibilities of working with oil pastels. $140/Members, $150/Non-members

Dry Pastel, October 15 & 22, 10am-2:30pm

Whether you have some experience with dry pastels, or are curious to know what this medium is all about you will find success by watching daily demonstrations, and receiving lots of personal assistance.  $140/Members, $150/Non-members

SchmittFloraExpressive Flowers in Mixed Media, October 29 & 30, 10am-2pm

This two week series offers a variety of techniques to create unique and vibrant floral paintings with Carrie Schmitt. $118/Members, $128/Non-members

Expressive Acrylic & Mixed Media, November 12 & 1310am-4pm

This two-day workshop will give you a great opportunity to learn many new ways of creating with acrylic paint and mixed media. $200/Members, $212/Non-members

Beck_Jacqui_AWatchfulEyeInto the Wild, September 24, 10am-4pm

Jump into painting without hesitation. Allow the illogical. Own the artistic license you’ve heard about. Spend the day with Gail Baker and Jacqui Beck and enjoy the process of discovering a wild selection of ways to free yourself up as you make art. $150/MEmbers, $160/Non-members

Process Painting is done in an environment where criticism is absent, where the painter is free from constraints. Intuitive spontaneous painting is a practice of releasing habits and honoring opportunities as they arise. $105/Members, $115/Non-members

If you love food & art then this workshop is for you. In this two day workshop, doodlers will draw fantastic food sketches of fruits, veggies, herbs, dessert and even pots and pans. Take home a fun illustrated recipe on the final day. $65/Members, $70/Non-members

Clay Play for AdultsCreative Clay Nights, Fridays monthly, 6:30-9:30pm

This is a fun and stress-free opportunity for the whole family to learn more about clay.  Each session will begin with a demonstration of a featured project, then students are free to explore hand building and ‘throwing’ clay on the potter’s wheel. $40/Members, $45/Non-members

Not your run-of-the-mill Paint & Sip Class. This is quality instruction from Leslie Nan Moon while enjoying light snacks & refreshments. All block-printing materials provided. $45/Members, $50/Non-members

Have fun working with soft glass in a relaxed atmosphere as you are introduced to the beginning techniques of glass beadmaking on a bench mounted torch at Jamie McKay’s studio in Sammamish. $80/Members, $85/Non-members

Did you know 1/3 of the earth is formed from dirt? Join instructor Cyndi Moring for Club Mud and turn dirt into pottery. You’ll learn techniques for hand building and  applying glazes, while creating architectural, sculptural and functional pieces. $140/Members, $150/Non-members
