Exhibition Manager

Volunteer Position: 10 Hours/Show

Manage and develop the Collective Works program, consisting of 4-5 exhibitions per year.  Continue to refine, develop and innovate this important flagship program. Sound like you? If you can help with this position, please email volunteer@arteast.org.

Responsibilities

The Collective Works Manager oversees a pre-planned exhibition calendar and process, augmented with support from the artEAST Programs Administrator and PR Manager.  Works with each show’s curator to create and manage a themed show, reception, and related events.  Participates with the managers of artEAST’s other exhibition programs to develop a cohesive, long-term strategic plan for exhibition and member sales opportunities.  Connects with area artists and advocates for the program. Works with Executive Director, curators, and fundraiser team to identify sponsors for individual shows or unique events that augment the shows.

Skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, teamwork and delegation skills.
  • Familiarization with exhibitions and their management.
Location

Split between your home and the artEAST office

Time Commitment
  • Variable time commitment.  10 hours per show (4-5 shows per year).
