Volunteer Position: 5-8 Hours/Month
The Education Director is responsible for developing, planning and executing educational programming and marketing for artEAST, working closely with the Executive Director and Arts Programs Administrator. Sound like you? If you can help with this position, please email email@example.com.
Set strategic direction, advocate for and market artEAST’s art education program. Research trends and business models, analyze education statistics and data. Seek out and work with teaching artists to establish and maintain a quality, unique, creative and diverse art curriculum for all age groups and levels of experience. Work with the Executive Director and Board to seek grant funding and sponsorship. Design policies that embrace artEAST’s values and vision.
- Background in marketing and arts education, art center or art school administration is preferable.
- Strong communication skills for advocating and working with a team of teaching artists.
Split between your home and the artEAST office.
- Highly variable depending on planning cycles. 5 to 8 hours per month.
