Support and Sponsorship

Art Builds Community

Optimism and opportunity abound where the arts are celebrated

As with all non-profit art centers, class tuition, membership fees and gallery sales cover only a portion of our operating costs.   The artEAST Art Center is a long-term community investment and we rely on fundraising activities and generous support from individuals, corporations, private foundations, and government agencies.

Visit The Seattle Foundation

We welcome donations at any level. See below for particular areas that need your support, and suggested amounts. Please give generously and join us in this unique opportunity to further build an Art Center and make an investment that will shape and define your community for decades to come.

All donations of $150 or greater receive recognition on the artEAST website. Corporate donations and sponsorships over $2,000 receive additional recognition. We invite you to contact us at sponsorship@arteast.org to learn about more opportunities for building healthy communities through art.

Our  juried exhibition program brings innovative art to the community and supports  our area’s growing population of artists. Exhibitions include popular and  lively receptions where artists and the community mingle.

Guest  Artist Program and Artist Talks

The  region’s highest caliber artists share their life, work and experiences with  the community during free artist’s talks, workshops and our Front Street display.

$250 – $1000 supports our non-profit, professional  exhibition spaces

Visual Arts Education Programs

All our education programs are underwritten  by 50% to keep tuition and fees very affordable.

Teacher and Art Docent Support

Support  of art education in the schools is essential to ensuring future generations of  artists, art supporters, and art lovers. Monthly training session features  hands-on art techniques, lesson plans, and a chance to share and collaborate.

artEAST Adult Workshops and Classes

Workshop sizes are small and  instruction is designed to create a positive learning experience for the novice or professional. We offer workshops in many mediums and skill levels, including  painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, and mixed-media.

$500 – $1000 supports education in the arts and creates healthy communities and healthy individuals

Classroom Capacity Projects

Help us expand our classroom  capacity and create additional space for community gatherings. The back rooms of the Art Center are currently under-utilized because of heat, lighting, and  insulation needs.  Additional art equipment is essential to increase the number of students we can accommodate in popular classes.

  • Replace classroom light fixtures: $3,000
  • Insulate 2nd classroom: $4,000
  • 10 classroom easels: $1250
  • Worktables and slab roller for ceramic program:  $3000

Donations over $1000 are heroic contributions to our future potential
