Artist Heather Pasqualino Weirich Recently relocated to Seattle, from Memphis, TN and before that, Philadelphia, Pa. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Heather received a BA in Art at Shippensburg University and studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. In 2002, Heather launched a series of art exhibitions called "Awaiting Artists". What began as an experiment to showcase works produced by artists who worked in the Restaurant and Service Industry, quickly grew to include established and professional artists such as, Nicola Black, Anthony Morrow and Clete Shields. She worked part time as an Assistant to the artist, Anthony Morrow in 2006 before taking maternity leave with her son. Heather also worked as a Conservation and Museum Quality Framer and Art Glass Gallery Assistant at Accent Studio in Haddonfield NJ. In 2006, Heather Weirich Design LLC was formed and remains her primary source of employment as a Fine Art Painter. Heather is currently working on a new body of Oil Paintings and Acrylic Prints.
