Winter and Spring Break Camps

Mid-Winter Break February 19–23 / Spring Break April 9–13
Ages 8-12

Instructors: Gail Baker & Ekta Gupta

Enjoy your break making art with these talented instructors. Each camp will have a different focus while delivering quality art instruction.

9am–12pm Mixed Media Art with Gail Baker

Mixed Media allows you to mix it up: literally! While students experiment with various tools for applying paint and other mediums, they’ll be learning about pigments and hues, saturation of color, and how their ideas come together to create their own unique composition. Tactile experiences contribute to this camp’s appeal. By playing with core art elements and principles of design, kids will come away with a one-of-a-kind work of art.  No experience necessary.

1-4pm Colored Pencil with Ekta Gupta

Remember the joy of opening a new box of color pencils? The possibilities seemed endless. Come relive that feeling this winter. Spend your Thursdays learning how to use this versatile, portable and easily accessible medium. No drawing experience or expertise necessary. Instruction will be tailored to suit each individual’s skill level.

All materials included.

Each student needs to wear studio appropriate clothing. Please bring a nut-free snack and labeled water bottle to each class. If registering for both AM & PM Camps, bring your lunch and stay with us the entire time.
