Stained Glass: Window to Your Soul

Wednesdays, February 7–21, 6:30–9:30pm
(3 sessions at artEAST Annex)

Instructor: John Casey

Designs of stained glass date back to 7th century. They have been used to depict historical moments in time and create luminous works of art through the colorful light they cast. One of the beautiful things about stained glass pieces is that they are not primarily functional, but supremely colorful and evocative.

Join instructor John Casey and explore the art of expression through stained glass creation. In this 3-week course you’ll learn about designing projects for glass: the art of glass cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, finishing and presentation. Students will complete their own stained glass design using the copper foil technique and have access to studio time between classes.

All supplies included.
