Exhibit: “Have a Cup of Creativity”

October 2 – November 15, artEAST Art Center
Salmon Days: October 7-8
Closing Reception: Thursday, November 2 7-9pm

Curators: Barbara Jirsa of artEAST and Marge Levy of Pottery Northwest

artEAST is excited to partner with Pottery Northwest for an exhibition of functional, ceramic cups by Pottery Northwest’s resident artists and a juried selection of cups from artEAST members.

Whether created in porcelain or terra cotta, the ‘hand of the maker’ is represented in every piece. The collective result is an impressive array of cups, from whimsical and humorous to industrial and modern. There are cups inspired by plants, the human form, and our animal friends.
