Early Fall at artEAST

August–October 2017

The temperatures might still be high, and kids not quite back in school, but fall is coming! From the gallery to the classroom, we’ll bring art into your life this season.

Fall Art Classes: Registration is Open!

It’s time to get serious about art. Join us for courses this fall and expand your love of art. Beginner to advanced, we have courses to bring your art to the next level. Discover a new art style, hone your current skills and experience the fun of an art night out with friends. There are so many great opportunities for art this fall at artEAST. Check out the full schedule which includes watercolor, a figure drawing intensive, and several month-long classes for developing new techniques.

Come participate! Finish up the summer in the Issaquah Highlands on Highlands Day, August 26, then join us in downtown Issaquah on our last First Friday in September for Art Walk on September 8 — we’re going all out! Several of our members will be showing their work in Art Alley on NW Alder and engaging visitors in interactive activities. We will also be offering “Paws and Hands” clay prints so bring your pups and kids. Visit our classroom for our Education Open House and register for fall classes for youth and adults!

Exhibits and Shows

At artEAST, we Put a Bird on It in a member show featuring our feathered friends, and our front window features Joanne Bohannon. Our ink and paper show, W-Ink, is on at Blakely Hall through Labor Day, then a new show, Fantastical Worlds, opens in September. Join us!

Here’s hoping you’re feeling inspired to get out and make some art. See you around this fall!
