Our annual Swirl auction and gala takes place on Saturday, April 22nd. The theme of this year’s event is “Wildly Creative.” Between now and then, we’ll take you behind the scenes to reveal how our artist community is working together to create an imaginative, art-filled evening you won’t want to miss.
Anne Anderson is one of our featured jewelry artists in this year’s auction. Anne has a keen eye for creating stylish, one-of-a-kind pieces using natural stones. Here’s a look at her great haul from the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show! These treasures are showing up in the new jewelry Anne is bringing to the gallery, and they have also inspired her auction pieces.
This gorgeous, layered piece is one of Anne’s donations to our auction.
When asked what “wildly creative” meant to Anne and how that shows up in her work, this is what she had to say:
“Wildly creative means that often I have so many projects going on at the same time that I honestly can’t decide where to focus my energy next. I feel like the creative juices are flowing so swiftly that I can’t harness it! It’s like asking a river to slow down. This doesn’t happen all the time, but I feel fortunate that I rarely feel stale or uninspired.”
