Youth Comicbook Summer Camp

9am–12pm, July 5–July 7 (3 days only)
Ages 7-11

Instructor: Benjamin Wills

BANG! POW! ZAP! Comics are a central piece of modern art and storytelling. This three day youth camp will equip students with the superpowers necessary to tell a sequential story, bringing their imagination to life in the world of comics!

Campers will work on stylization; learn about comicbook layout and character creation, and how to use images to convey emotion and ideas using classic archetypes.

Please bring a nut-free snack and labeled water bottle to each class.

Optional Lunch Bunch available from 12-1pm. Cost is $30 for the week. (If enrolling in both AM & PM camps, then Lunch Bunch fee is waived). Please bring a nut–free sack lunch. MEALS NOT PROVIDED.

Note: Workshops with less than minimum enrollment may be cancelled one week prior to start date.
