Teen Mask Making Summer Camp

1-4pm, August 21–25
Ages 11–17

Instructor: Gail Baker

We live in a land of forests, mountains, lakes, and rivers.  The animals calling this place home are plentiful and beautiful. We can get to know them as we study their forms and build them in wearable, 3-dimensional headdresses.  The skills we ‘ll use are design, drawing, sculpting and painting. If you enjoy wearing your art, come learn with a master mask maker.  Gail has taught mask making for 20 years.

Gail Baker is a professional artist. She received her MA from the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology in 2000 in Psychology with an emphasis on creative expression, learning styles and multiple intelligences. Gail has taught children and adults in private and public settings in Washington and Alaska for 28 years.
