Recycled Artist in Residence Summer Camp

We are pleased to announce our second Artist in Residence Gabriele Phillips who will be teaching a special camp this summer in conjunction with Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park, Recology Cleanscapes and Parkadilly!

Gabi is a Recycled Materials Artist and Environmental Scientist with a passion for melding art and science conservation. Campers will help create her vision of a recycled tree that blooms as recycled goods are added to it.

Campers will spend time creating their own art pieces as well as working on the final installation.

The final art tree will be installed at the annual Parkadilly summer event on Sunday, July 23, 2017 during which students and adults alike will also have the opportunity to create and add their personal art pieces to Gabi’s final project.

Please bring a nut-free snack and labeled water bottle to each class.

Optional Lunch Bunch available from 12-1pm. Cost is $30 for the week. (If enrolling in both AM & PM camps, then Lunch Bunch fee is waived). Please bring a nut–free sack lunch. MEALS NOT PROVIDED.

All materials provided.

All Day Camp: $240/members, $260/nonmembers

Min/Max: 6/12
Note: Workshops with less than minimum enrollment may be cancelled one week prior to start date.
