Splat, smear, poke, rip, smush, dab, destroy, reconstruct. If you were to take away a brush from your process of making, what tools would you use to render your image?

Taking a cue from the action painters and abstract expressionists of old and contemporary non-objective abstraction, this class will explore the emotional impact of mark making, the drama of contrasting colors, and break every rule in the painting rule book to create powerful and exciting works.

Please bring a nut-free snack and labeled water bottle to each class.

Optional Lunch Bunch available from 12-1pm. Cost is $30 for the week. (If enrolling in both AM & PM camps, then Lunch Bunch fee is waived). Please bring a nut–free sack lunch. MEALS NOT PROVIDED.
