April 28, May 26 or June 23
Instructor: Juliette Ripley-Dunkelberger
This is a fun and stress-free opportunity for the whole family to learn more about clay in a historic building with a gallery atmosphere. Each session will begin with a demonstration of a featured project, then students are free to explore hand building and ‘throwing’ clay (using the potter’s wheel). If you have a project in mind, our on-site artist instructors will work with you to create it. Advanced skills will be taught as requested, however there are no prerequisites. Feel free to join as much as you would like!
Family Art-making Opportunity! This workshop is open to ages 12 and up, children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Class fee includes all materials, tools, wheel & a single kiln firing. Your work will be fired and available for pick up by the next class date.
Featured Projects (Always your choice to make or not!)
Note for returning students:
*Due to the nature of ceramics, there is no guarantee that your work will survive the firing process. Work left for more than two months will be cleared out.
Class Fee: $55/Member, $60/non-Member
Note: Workshops with less than minimum enrollment may be cancelled one week prior to start date.
