Silver Fusing Workshop

Saturday, November 12, 10am–2pm

Instructor: Jamie McKay

Create an exquisite fine silver link bracelet featuring a bead dangle and custom clasp. Session starts with torch & studio safety and covers all the tips and techniques needed to fuse fine silver wire. Students will finish their bracelets with a hammered technique that catches the light beautifully. Your jewelry will be tumbled and ready to take home at end of class. Beginning and continuing students are welcome to take this workshop as many times as they like to continue practicing their fusing skills. No prerequisites.

Tools and safety equipment will be provided. Studio Safety Info & driving directions will be emailed week before class. OFF-SITE workshop taught in Sammamish. Bring your own reader glasses if needed, sack lunch and drink. Required supplies: Students may bring their own fine silver wire – 2′ of 14g and 2′ of 16g (DO NOT BRING STERLING SILVER WIRE!) OR purchase from instructor at start of class ($30 – cash or local check only)

Class Fee: $90/Member, $95/non-Member (see above for suggested materials to bring or pay $30 to instructor, cash or check)

Note: Workshops with less than minimum enrollment may be cancelled one week prior to start date.
