Holiday Flameworking Workshop

Saturday, November 19, 10am–2pm

Get a jump start on making some fun holiday gifts for friends and family! Students will be introduced to the basic techniques of working borosilicate glass rod on a bench-mounted torch to create unique holiday items, such as swizzle sticks, icicle ornaments, and swirly drop pendants. Glass work will be kiln annealed and ready for pickup the following week at the art center.  All materials, tools, glass, and safety equipment provided.  Wear 100% cotton clothing, no baggy sleeves.

No prerequisites required. Studio safety information and driving directions will be emailed the week before class.

Class Fee: $80/Member, $85/non-Member (see above for suggested materials to bring)

Note: Workshops with less than minimum enrollment may be cancelled one week prior to start date.
