Friday August 5, 6–9 pm
Before summer leaves us, please join us for the second and final Art Walk, celebrating its 15th year and sponsored by the Downtown Issaquah Association. Enjoy the arts, crafts, and music along Front Street, and inside our gallery.
If you step inside, not only will we have a wide and colorful selection from our retail gallery artists, there’s also new and ongoing work from our artist in residence, Lindsay Peyton, and your chance to try figure sketching from a clothed model.
Outside, in the Art Alley alley around the corner on West Alder Street, we’ll be sponsoring free art for kids and grownups, including easel painting with Jason Liekhus, paper mâché mask making with Gail Baker, colored pencil projects with Ekta Gupta, Jaipur printing with Priyanka Misra, mini sculptures, and ceramics with Shelly Volstedt. Our front window this month features instructor Janis Smith‘s watercolors.
If you’d like to further your own artistic pursuits, we have options for fall workshops, for adults as well as youths and teens. Our youth and teen workshop and camp schedule extends through the end of the month.
