Mondays, December 5 & 12, 6–9pm (2 sessions)
Instructor: Gail Baker
Ever wanted to try drawing but felt it was too daunting? Join Gail Baker and learn to create marks and shapes in new and engaging ways. Together we will use black and white house paint, big charcoal, sticks, and colorful oil pastels on large sheets of paper to explore representational, symbolic, and non-objective drawing.
Each 3-hour session will focus on mark-making exercises that develop a unique, personal and strong sense of expression. Six hours total instruction.
Students who have taken this class before will deepen and broaden their skills with an expanded set of exercises.
All materials provided.
Class Fee: $105/member, $115/non-member
Note: Workshops with less than minimum enrollment may be cancelled one week prior to start date.
