2016 Exhibition Schedule

ExhLogoHorizWe mount monthly and bimonthly exhibitions featuring a wide range of artists and artwork at our exhibition spaces at the downtown Issaquah Art Center and at Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands.    These free, rotating exhibitions offer the community an opportunity to experience a wide range of art and art mediums.  Member and guest artists and curators connected to the regional art scene ensure energy, vitality and freshness of the presentations while celebrating local artists.

As a community-centered organization, we recognizes art’s ability to bring people together and spark dialogue on interesting and important topics.  Each year, at least one exhibition is designed to include special speaker programs, panel discussions, and musical, prose or poetry programming.

This year, The Incredible Intensity of Just Being Human, curated by Kate Virjmoet and co-sponsored with the Issaquah Schools Foundation, included extensive programming exploring issues of youth mental health, with the goal of de-stigmatizing the topic and encouraging conversation.

Here’s our calendar of exhibitions for the year.
