January 16–March 14, 2016, Blakely Hall
Opening Reception Saturday, January 23, 6–8 pm
Curated by Megan Somerville-Loomis and Ted Loomis
Last week of this great show! Clouds have found a welcome home in the human creative experience, from the earliest cave drawings to ancient Chinese ceramics to contemporary painting, photography, film, and music. Mirroring our own brief journeys, clouds’ temporal existence reflects our dreams and drives our imagination.
Curators Megan Somerville-Loomis and Ted Loomis, artEAST, and the Issaquah Highlands Council bring the splendor of clouds and the joy of watching them to an interactive and participatory art exhibition and programming exploring weather related themes, January – March 2016, at Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands.
This show runs in parallel with the Any Umbrellas exhibition, located at artEAST, 95 Front Street in Issaquah. There will also be a selection of Cloud artwork at the artEAST location.
