Mondays, 12–2:00pm (long pose)
September 9–December 9, 2013 (13 sessions; no class on November 11)
Coordinators: Ellen Borison & Lee Berry
These open model sessions offer participants the opportunity to practice drawing from the nude model without instruction. For the morning short pose session, the first hour will typically be spent on 1, 2, and 5 minute poses; the second hour will be spent on 15 minute poses. For the afternoon long pose sessions, the time will be devoted to a single pose.
Some prior figure drawing experience is helpful. Participants must supply their own papers and drawing materials. Drawing benches and a limited number of easels are available for your use, and you are welcome to bring your own easel. Artists are free to use any non-volatile media that doesn’t unreasonably discomfort fellow participants.
You choose when to come! Buy a pass to attend any 5, 10, or 20 sessions. Passes are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
Flexible enrollment! Once minimum enrollment is met, drop-ins are welcome at $20/single session or $30/both short and long pose sessions on same day.
Class Fee: $78-$232, based on number of sessions (See above for suggested materials to bring)
