Grab a camera and go on a hunt in Issaquah! This is a photo scavenger hunt where teens, adults and families search for their visual interpretation of a list of menagerie themed words; for instance, what image does “stalk” inspire in your mind? Photographer Kelly Morrison will provide some photography tips and the list of menagerie words. Participants will have until midnight, Thursday August 1st to explore Issaquah and upload their images. All images will available for view during the week via both the artEAST and City of Issaquah websites.
If you are unable to join us in person on Monday night you can still play! Click on the links below to like our Facebook page and to follow us on Twitter. The list of words for the hunt and all the rules will be posted and sent out Monday evening.
Photos will be judged by Issaquah city officials Autumn Monahan and Warren Kagarise. The top five photos for each word will be displayed at Issaquah Art Walk on August 2nd at the artEAST gallery on Front Street.
It’s free, it’s fun, its for families, teens, adults, professionals and amateurs alike! We can’t wait to see how you see Issaquah!
