Stitch: Juried works inspired by fiber at artEASTStitching is typically associated only with fiber art, but it can be used and interpreted in a variety of mediums. This exhibit shows works in mixed media, glass, fiber, ceramics, and other mediums that use the shapes and/or techniques of knitting, stitching and weaving in 2-D or 3-D form. Artworks in this juried exhibit express the wide range of artistic possibilities that can be created from the versatility of stitch forms.

The exhibit was juried by Layne Goldsmith, a professor in the School of Art at the University of Washington and Suzanne Tidwell, a Sammamish fiber artist and exhibit co-curator; also co-curating the exhibit is Janice King, a Sammamish art quilter.
