Theresa Neinas is a Seattle, Washington based artist who transplanted from the mid-west in 1978. That year was a turning point for Theresa as she had to make the choice to stay in Wisconsin or start a new life in Washington…with $200 in her pocket, a rabbit fur coat, and a one way train ticket it was, at the time, a sound decision. She started out the first year of her educational journey at Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wisconsin and after years of taking fun classes she finally knocked off the science and math classes she need to receive her BA in Art from the University of Washington in 1990 (To her surprise she enjoyed those classes as well). Theresa has been doing lino block prints since 1995 and has been enjoying it’s process ever since.
