Susan Walker

Susan Walker joined our board in 2012 and served on the Board Development Committee as Chair and also on the Development Committee, taking an active role in our annual auction. She now serves in an advisory role.

Susan paints in a shared studio, renovated from a farmhouse built in 1889, in historic Gilman Village in Issaquah, Washington. An exploratory artist from an early age, she was educated under legendary American artist Wayne Thiebaud at UC Davis and continued her art education at the University of Washington. Susan’s muse is the intersection of art and psychology.  She paints to fulfill her own curiosity about the world.

Susan is a former Issaquah School District elementary principal, and a faculty member at SPU, WWU, and the University of Cincinnati.
