Reisha Holton

Writer
Website

Reisha Holton is a journalist by trade with a vision for creating a writing community on the Eastside. She believes all artists (writers are artists of the written word!) need a place to ponder projects, to think, to doodle, to play with their thoughts, to daydream guilt-free. She developed this open creative space idea at the Art Center with the hope that she would gift herself and others a consistent time and quiet place to do all of the above. It’s a growing experiment that she hopes you’ll try.

Reisha also offers inspiring writing workshops that are safe and comfortable, yet welcome gutsy, scrappy, authentic writing. Her creative interests led her to create The Poetry Machine, which has become a favorite attraction at local festivals like Issaquah Art Walk. Reisha thinks she was born with a number 2 pencil in one hand and a spiral notebook in the other. Her mother will not verify this information. Her recent work can be read in Washington Trails magazine or Issaquah-Sammamish and Beyond magazine.
