Deborah Freng is a self admitted color junkie. Her preoccupation with HUE is punctuated by a life long interest in texture, shape, and lighting.

Deb completed her BA in Art from Western Washington University where she majored in Studio Painting. As a child she took painting lessons from William Cumming at the Kirkland Arts Center. Later, in art school, she was once again a student of Mr. Cumming and Northwest Artist Fred Griffin.

Her paintings, drawings, fiber design, and photographic works have been exhibited at Bellevue Arts & Crafts Fair, Pacific Northwest Arts & Crafts Fair, Fairhaven Gallery, Anacortes Art Fair, Richmond Beach Library, WSU Viking Commons, SDA 12 x 12 Art Auction, Issaquah ArtWalk, artEAST Art Center, UpFront Gallery, EAFA Annual Juried Exhibitions and Member Shows, Seattle Design Center, the Swedish Medical Center Foundation Art Collection, Overlake Hospital Medical Center and numerous private collections.
